so, recently i borrowed silent hill 3 from a friend for the PC after beating silent hill 2 for the xbox. anyways, i started it up, new game, and threw on easy difficulty (i try to get through it quickly at first so i can learn the story, then play it on higher difficulties later) and hard riddle level. then i started the game. i'm in front of silent hill's amusement park (the manual led me to believe i was to start in a mall in another city) and my weapons consisted of... a pocket knife alright, not too unusual i suppose, in silent hill 2 though i had to start with nothing but a piece of paper and a picture of mary, same goes for the flashlight and radio . a steel pipe. weird.... but i guess not too weird a pistol at the start of the game? ok... well, in the subscenario for SH2 you started with a revolver... and.... a submachine gun ...WTF?!?! this shouldn't be in the GAME, much less starting with it... so... i'm convinced that my game randomly started in the middle. anybody who's played SH3 agree with me?
